What's in the making... Architecture with architects
What’s in the making… is a manifesto of the extensiveness that is ‘architecture’. A new generation of architects prove there is simply no linear or even manageable way of showcasing the craft and art of building. The variety in all of the projects published in What’s in the making… show that ‘architecture’ no longer limits itself to walls, windows, doors and roofs. What all 9 projects do demonstrate however is exactly the complexity of contemporary architecture’s meaning. Architects become artists; scientists; historians; theorists; even super heroes and revolutionaries. Clearly, what makes an ‘architect’ is neither fixed or limited.
With projects by Anne Dessing, Kollektiv A, Jean-Benoît Vétillard (with photographs by Alan Hasoo), PLURAL, Fala, Atelier Fanelsa, Fabiola Morcillo, Jack Self and Atelier ARI.
